Whether you are here to compete, support your mates, or experience campdraft at its best as a spectator, this is one of the signature events on the calendar and a standout long weekend at Willinga Park.

The Gold Buckle Campraft Championship 2026 is set to lift the bar again with expanded prize money, major feature events and a national title debut that puts Willinga Park firmly in the spotlight. Expect big runs, big moments, and a festival style event experience beyond the arena, with entertainment, shopping, hospitality, and plenty to keep the whole crew entertained across the four days.

The Gold Buckle Campdraft Championship returns to Willinga Park from 8 – 11 July 2026, bringing four action packed days of campdrafting, entertainment and atmosphere to the NSW South Coast. With more than $450,000 in cash and prizes on offer, including an extra $50,000 in cash added to the 2026 prize money pool, this year’s championship is set to be one of the biggest yet.

More than a competition, Gold Buckle is a full event experience, where elite riders, standout horses and major feature events come together with live music, shopping, hospitality and family friendly entertainment. In 2026, the championship also steps up with the debut of The Pryde’s EasiFeed NCCA Champion Rider eventat Willinga Park, adding a prestigious national title to an already huge week of competition.

Beyond the arena, visitors can enjoy food, drinks, trade stalls and a festival style atmosphere across the four days, with live music adding to the experience on Friday and Saturday night. Glenn Whitehall + The Get Ups perform on Friday 10 July, with Spindrift Saga and James Van Cooper & The Jimmy’s taking the stage on Saturday 11 July.

Adding even more excitement to the program is Applause Entertainment’s Freestyle Stunt Show, featuring world class FMX and BMX riders, huge tricks, crowd interaction, music and a fire artist in a thrilling live performance for all ages.
